Norouz celebration in Alzahra University ICTP

On February 17, 2018, Norouz celebration in honor of international Persian language students was held inside the Persian language education center of Alzahra University. This event was attended by director, instructors, and a number of language students.

This celebration was commenced by Dr. Khadijah Karimi Alavijah, the director of Alzahra University ICTP, who welcomed and greeted the attendants for Norouz; and went on to speak on Norouz and its significance for the Iranian people. This was followed by music and videos that were shown in introduction of Norouz and Haft Seen. The Persian learners dined on Norouz food items and discussed the ceremony. At the end, following the tradition of Iranian families, the learners were given Eidy from the director. After the event the Persian learners were invited to lunch, in Alzahra University traditional restaurant.
