The multimedia studies laboratory
This laboratory is used for classes and workshops that require equipment such as internet connection, specific software for workshops, etc.
Within this laboratory each student is assigned a separate computer. The computer assigned to the professor, is equipped with a software that enables the professor to control the class and send audio and video files in addition to receiving from the students, test design, etc.
This laboratory also holds online defense sessions. Among other equipment of this laboratory are smart board, visualizer, and a projector. The acoustic room is also used for audio recordings.
This laboratory is designed to accommodate 27 and is equipped with x-class manufactured by the Sun-Tech Corporation. The laboratory of the center is a complex for computer and language which provides the students with excellent facilities, such as:
student computer control by the professor (collaboration).
direct connectivity to and control various multimedia devices such as visualizer, DVD, VHS, projector, cassette, satellite.
class recordings for students for later use.
monitoring and controlling 800 student computers with timetables.
student voice comparison to that of the professor, in order to improve the pronunciation skills of the students.
updated online testing and issue of electronic certificates.
running any software on student computers by the professor.
sending image and sound of the professor to one or all students.
questions being sent to the computer of professor by any students and receiving responds privately.
forming limited or unlimited groups (two or more members)
installing multimedia systems within the network, free of extra equipment (cables, etc.)
Distance assistance to students and student computer control by the professor, for step by step instructions to each student via image and sound.
e-learning within the network.
complete multimedia in that the system above is not limited to location, and may be expanded to any class or building for education, without the need for physical presence of the professor.
