Toronto University Theology and Shiiteology scholar visits the director of Alzahra University ICTP

On Tuesday, May 29, 2018, Toronto University's Professor of Theology and member of Dallas University's Foundation of Abrahamian studies, Prof. Kurt Anders Richardson met the director of Alzahra University ICTP. During this event, Dr. Richardson provided a statement of his activities within the field of religious studies and cooperation with various research groups from several universities, and extended his willing for cooperation with Alzahra University. Following Dr. Richardson, Dr. Karimi provided a report on the activities of the Alzahra ICTP in its campus and online courses of general Persian as well as emphasis on the importance of the Persian language concerning Shiiteology, Orientology, History (Iran, civilization, Ottoman empire, oriental studies etc.), and Persian literature.

Dr. Richardson expressed interest and satisfaction towards the Persian Language courses, online courses in particular; hoping that both sides may benefit from the available capacities by forming research groups of theology from individuals with different areas of expertise.
